Deborah L. Feldman
Deborah L. Feldman is an experienced corporate/real estate attorney whose practice
focuses on commercial real estate, corporate and commercial law. In commercial real
estate, she has handled a wide variety of transactions, including acquisitions, financings,
dispositions, construction and development, and leasing. She has represented owners,
developers, investors and lenders in transactions throughout the United States using a
variety of ownership structures. Ms. Feldman's role in these transactions typically
includes advising on transaction structure, negotiation of key terms, developing creative
and practical alternatives, performing and supervising due diligence and transaction
documentation.
Ms. Feldman's corporate and commercial practice focuses on business transactions
cutting across a wide range of industries. Her experience encompasses a variety
of complex transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance,
joint ventures and strategic alliances, business process outsourcings, software
development and implementations, licensing of intellectual property, commercial
transactions and general corporate representation for private companies. Her clients
include business clients and individuals in such diverse industries as technology,
real estate development and syndication, manufacturing, media and consumer products.
Ms. Feldman received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1970 from the State University of
New York, Stony Brook and her Masters in Business Administration in 1971 in Management
/Finance from the Graduate School of Management (the Anderson School of Management)
at the University of California, Los Angeles. For four years following the award of her MBA,
Ms. Feldman had a successful career as a contract negotiator for NASA-JPL. Ms. Feldman
received her Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University, SCALE in 1978 and
admitted to the California Bar the same year.
Ms. Feldman is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Association for Corporate Growth,
the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association.
She is admitted to practice law in California, and the District of Columbia. She has
an "AV" peer rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating an attorney can receive.
