Douglas A. Bordner
Douglas A. Bordner is an experienced real estate and business attorney. His practice experience
includes extensive representation of developers and investors in various aspects of real estate,
including construction, real estate financing, environmental matters, acquisition of undeveloped
real estate, entitlements, commercial development, acquisition of office buildings, apartment
buildings and other commercial and residential properties. Also, he has extensive knowledge
in forming and representing limited liability companies, limited partnerships, “S” corporations,
commercial leasing, 1031 exchanges, and contractor, architect, engineer, broker and
management agreements. He has managed a multitude of business acquisitions, contracts,
and mergers, and his client representation runs the gamut from entrepreneurs
to large, privately held corporations.
Mr. Bordner also has extensive experience representing software companies with respect to
international software licensing and distribution agreements in Europe, Asia, Pacific Rim
Countries, and South America. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics
with a minor in political Science from the University of California, Davis in 1987, and his law
degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1991. Mr. Bordner is
admitted to practice law in California, Washington State, and the District of Columbia. He has
an “AV” peer rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating an attorney can receive.
